Supported research in power electronics, laboratory automation, and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
Work spanned hardware design, software development, and experimental validation to improve the safety,
reliability, and efficiency of high-power converter research.
EMC & Hardware Design
- Designed and fabricated a custom electromagnetic shielding enclosure for the Imperix B-Board controller to reduce EMI in high-power converter systems.
- Created 3D CAD models and manufactured components using metal laser cutting and other machine tools.
- Applied PCB design and hardware integration techniques to support controller development.
Laboratory Automation
- Developed Python-based desktop applications to automate programmable power supplies and electronic loads.
- Implemented SCPI communication over Ethernet and USB for instrument control, monitoring, and data acquisition.
- Designed intuitive user interfaces and deployed standalone executable applications to improve laboratory efficiency and safety.
Power Electronics Research
- Contributed to research on "Benchmark of Conventional and Center-Tapped Dual Active Bridge Converter" — investigating high-efficiency SiC MOSFET-based DAB topologies.
- Developed automation software for DAB experiments, including automated test sequencing, emergency shutdown protection, and controlled power-down functions to safeguard equipment during high-voltage testing.
- Assisted in experimental setup, system integration, and performance evaluation, contributing to a research paper submitted to the IEEE International Power Electronics Conference (IPEC) 2026, Nagasaki.
